Every Day is a Friday (1) By Dr. Michael Brooks

I love Fridays, in fact, I look forward to them. I think about my time with my family, friends and what we will be doing on Friday evenings. I love evening meals with family and friends, spending time talking about their day and how their week has been. I hear about their tough days at work and at home. Then I realize how blessed I am. I love my job, in which I am very passionate about. I can’t believe how happy I am about helping others in need. It drives me to be the best that I can be. I love helping people in difficult situations and finding solutions for their problems, this is one of my joys in life.

Just think, today is Friday! Relax, the weekend is about to begin, what plans do you have?

So, I guess you’re wondering why my Headline is “Every Day is a Friday?” I often get asked, Mike, how’s your day going? My response is “Not bad for a Friday!” it doesn’t matter what day of the week it is. I’m used to getting quizzical looks when I responded that way. Then I’d explain, I am truly blessed, I love my family, love my job, love my friends, I think about all these wonderful things in my life. I believe most people love Friday’s too, why? It’s the last day of the work week for most people. They have plans they have made and are looking forward to them. You start thinking about the weekend plans you’ve made on Monday through Thursday and can’t wait till Friday is here.
